Original Cackalacky™ Spice Sauce was featured in the February 2012 issue of Bon Appétit Magazine, with editors declaring it a favorite in their “Savor The South” issue.
The sauce was notable as an example of “… a fresh crop of artisans [who are] giving the Southern pantry a whole new shelf life.”
Created in Chapel Hill, N.C., by Cackalacky Inc., Cackalacky™ (pronounced “kak-uh-lak-ee”) Spice Sauce is an all-natural dressing, dip, topping and marinade that’s made with sweet potatoes but with a zesty kick. Over the past decade, has won multiple flavor awards and has been featured in many publications as well as several national TV and radio shows.
The product is currently available in hundreds of natural and specialty grocery stores in 20-plus states throughout the U.S.
