Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix Super Markets Inc. has promoted Gino DiGrazia to VP of finance. In addition to his current responsibilities for business analysis and reporting (BAR), DiGrazia assumes many of the responsibilities previously held by Kelly Underhill, director of tax and treasury, who retired from Publix on March 30, after 22 years of dedicated service.
“Developing our leaders for future opportunities is important to our long-term success,” said CFO David Phillips. “I am pleased we have leaders like Gino who are prepared to take on new roles.”
DiGrazia joined Publix in 1992 as manager of BAR. In 1997, he was promoted to director of BAR and in 2002 was named VP and controller of BAR. Prior to joining Publix, DiGrazia was an audit manager with Deloitte & Touche in Tampa. He graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University in 1984 with a double major in accounting and finance and is a certified public accountant.
