Tark’s Market In Talent, Ore., To Become A Ray’s Food Place

Tark’s Market will soon become a Ray’s Food Place, serving the town of Talent, Ore. C&K Market Inc., parent company of Ray’s Food Place, will take the reins of the community market Tuesday, Sept. 4, with an expedited refresh of the store interior and décor planned.
Targeted to re-open as a Ray’s on Sept. 10, the newest Ray’s will offer its signature Certified Angus Beef program, fresh produce, good selection of national and private brand products and outstanding service to the Talent community, according to a company news release.
“Finding the right opportunity to grow again in the rogue valley is a wonderful treat for us” said Alan Nidiffer, EVP of C&K Market. “We believe we can hit the ground running in Talent with our excellent service and wide variety of products tailored for the communities we serve.”
Grand opening plans are under way with a community barbecue, giveaways and special grand opening savings set to highlight the festivities.
C&K Market is a family-owned company based in Brookings, Ore. The company operates 64 grocery stores and 13 pharmacies under the banners of Ray’s Food Place, Shop Smart, C&K Market and Pharmacy Express.
