The votes are in, and Peach-Mango and Raspberry Lemonade have been selected as the next two Dum Dums flavors.
Dum Dums asked its Facebook fans to choose the next two flavors in a tournament style competition. In July and early August, fans were asked to vote for their favorite mash-up or combo flavor with the top mash-up from each week advancing to the next round. The finals featured a heated race between four finalists with Peach-Mango and Raspberry Lemonade emerging as the top selections.
“We’re thrilled to give Facebook fans a voice in the selection of the next Dum Dums flavors,” said Dum Dums Brand Manager Evan Brock. “Flavor mash-ups are very popular right now and Dum Dums fans have selected two delicious combinations.”
Peach-Mango and Raspberry Lemonade will hit stores in the spring of 2013, replacing Dulce de Leche and Mango, which are scheduled for “a vacation,” the company says.
