Industry Leader Robin Lewis To Keynote National Retail Conference
Retailers are in great need of powerful new tools to survive in today’s highly-competitive and rapidly-changing marketplace, according to the founder and CEO of The Robin Report, who will be speaking to participants at the Retail Marketing and Merchandizing Conference to be held at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort in Arizona on April 27-30. Robin Lewis, author, speaker and consultant for the retail and consumer products industry, is the co-author of “The New Rules of Retail” and is often quoted in various trade and consumer publications such as Women’s Wear Daily, Time Magazine, Chicago Sun-Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Brand Week and Advertising Age, as well as on CNBC and MSNBC.
Lewis says that constantly-evolving technology, globalization and a saturated marketplace are creating the toughest environment for retailers ever with unprecedented levels of expectation from consumers, who have instant access to equally-appealing products and services. In fact, Lewis claims that this wave of change is so profound that traditional business models will become outdated and half of today’s retailers and consumer companies will not survive it. During his address to conference attendees, Lewis will uncover the forces behind these contemporary dynamics and profile retailers that are not only surviving today’s trends but thriving in the modern marketplace.
Lewis is frequently requested by C-level management for advice, consultation and strategic presentations. Among them are Kohl’s; Bloomingdale’s; J.C.
