The Vermont Specialty Food Association (VSFA) is partnering with the Vermont Brewers Association, Vermont Cheese Council, Distilled Spirits Council of Vermont and the Vermont Grape & Wine Council for a special event at the State House in Montpelier on Tuesday. The tasting reception will showcase and educate state officials on Vermont specialty food and beverage products.
The reception, to be held from 4-6 p.m. in the State House cafeteria, will include tastings of participating member products along with samples from several of Vermont’s finest micro-brews, spirits and wines.
Last year’s event was immensely popular, according to organizers.
VFSA members planning to participate include Blake Hill Preserves, Boston Post Dairy, Cabot, Champlain Orchards, Comfort Cookies, Crackers Crepes & Crisps, Crowley Cheese, Franklin Foods, Grafton Village Cheese, Grand View Winery, Kingdom Creamery, Liz’s Lovely Inc., Per’s Smoked of VT, Sumptuous Syrups, Suzanne’s Sweet Savories, Two Guys in Vermont, Vermont Coffee Co., Vermont Creamery, Vermont Farmstead, Vermont Fresh Pasta, Vermont Sundae Sauce, Vermont Switchel, and Yolo Snacks.
