The National eWIC Symposium, presented by the Texas Retailers Association, will be held March 26-27 at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel in Dallas. Sponsorships are still available and there is still time to register for the event, which will bring together EBT, industry and government experts to demonstrate and discuss WIC EBT technology alternatives.
Some highlights of the upcoming event include: Jerilyn Malliet, chief of the state technology branch at USDA, who will speak and give an update on eWIC, and Aaron Forsythe, Missouri eWIC project director, who will talk about all the steps Missouri took to make its decision regarding the issue.
