Nominations are open for Wisconsin Grocers Association (WGA) Honors and will be accepted until April 30. Awards are presented for Grocer of the Year, Excellence in Operations, Community Service and Vendor of the Year during the association’s annual Innovation Expo, which will take place this year Oct. 15-16 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
Grocer of the Year is the Wisconsin grocery industry’s highest award and is presented annually to recognize an individual or individuals for their lifetime commitment to the grocery industry. This crowning award exemplifies the highest leadership in business and community and influence that has positively enhanced the lives of others.

Excellence in Operations awards are presented to those who excel in daily operations of the store, merchandising products and working with employees. Click here to download a nomination form.
Community Service recognizes individual(s) who make a difference in their community with their volunteer efforts. Click here to download a nomination form.
Vendor of the Year honors a vendor partner whose above-and-beyond contributions lead to an increase in sales. Click here to download a nomination form.
Nominees must have made outstanding contribution to the grocery industry and have a history of active support and involvement in the WGA. Nominations will be submitted to and scored by the WGA’s Board of Directors. Honorees will be notified in June and July. A press release and media event will be scheduled in advance to announce the awards. A sign also will be provided to display in the office or store.
Honorees also will be featured in the Expo issue of the Wisconsin Grocer magazine, in Expo e-alerts, in the President’s Letter email and on www.WisconsinGrocers.com.
