Iowa Grocery Industry Association Logo Gets A Makeover

The Iowa Grocery Industry Association (IGIA), which represents the state’s food industry, including chain and independent supermarkets, convenience stores, mass merchandisers, wholesalers, brokers, manufacturers and distributors, announced today that its logo has a fresh, new look.

The organization’s logo has been updated to match the vitality of its members and reflect the desire of the grocery industry to promote health in our communities, according to IGIA President Michelle Hurd.

“The industry is changing and we have to evolve with it,” Hurd says. “We’ve made some significant improvements to the association and the services we offer. We have refreshed our logo to reflect that.”

Founded in 1899, the IGIA has long served as a resource to its members, the food industry and the public, providing education, legislative leadership, networking and philanthropic programs. IGIA’s headquarters is located in Urbandale, Iowa.
