Magnum Ice Cream’s Pop-Up Concept Opens In New York Today
Magnum Ice Cream has announced the U.S. arrival of the “Make My Magnum” experience at Magnum New York this summer in Bryant Park.
Designed as the ultimate customized ice cream experience, Magnum New York is the first-ever ice cream pop-up concept of its kind for Magnum Ice Cream in the U.S. Through the end of the summer, guests can design their own Magnum ice cream, complete with a number of toppings, at the Make My Magnum bar.
The “Make My Magnum” experience involves choosing a unique flavor combination from the hundreds available by choosing up to three toppings from nine selected ingredients. These toppings are then paired with a vanilla bean ice cream bar and a choice of Magnum coating—milk or dark—made with Belgian chocolate.
The pop-up concept was previously launched in several markets around the world including London, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo and most recently at the Cannes Film Festival.
“Since coming to the U.S. three years ago, Magnum Ice Cream has solidified itself both as an icon of premium chocolate pleasure and as the ultimate fashion accessory,” says Nick Soukas, brand building director for U.S. Unilever ice cream. “The ‘Make My Magnum’ concept offers fans the most decadent ice cream experience, allowing them to design a bar with customized toppings and chocolate coatings. Summer in New York has never been more indulgent.”
Magnum New York is located in Bryant Park and is open noon-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Sunday—June 17-Sept. 30. Guests may customize a “Make My Magnum” bar for $5 or may purchase a Magnum Gold?!, Double Caramel, Almond or Classic bar for $3.
