Laurel Grocery Co. recently recognized the achievements of exceptional IGA retailers and managers during its 2013 Fall Food Show in Covington, Ky. Laurel Grocery Co. is an IGA licensed distribution center based in London, Ky. The company serves stores in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Illinois.
Becky Amberger of Village Store IGA in Oldenburg, Ind., was recognized as the Produce Manager of the Year; Tonya Hudepohl of Sunman IGA in Sunman, Ind., was given the Deli/Bakery Manager of the Year award; and Paul Maloney of Liberty IGA in Liberty, Ky., was honored as the Store Manager of the Year.
Other awards were given to retailers/managers who showed consistent increases in their purchases through Laurel Grocery Co.
