Mr. Davis, known as Kelly, was the brother of Bristol Farms President and CEO Kevin Davis and was a week shy of celebrating his 58th birthday on Oct. 16.

Mr. Davis began working in the grocery industry at the age of 16 for Ralphs Grocery Co. and later completed the Food Industry Management Program at USC. He also was a graduate of Pasadena High School and California State University at Long Beach.

According to an obituary published Sunday in the Los Angeles Times, “Kelly was an extremely gregarious person all his life and had many more friends than any of us who knew him could ever count. He was always the center of attention with his great sense of humor, athletic good looks and friendly easy-going demeanor. He played hard and worked hard, yet always seemed to have time to listen to others, and give support to those in need.”

In addition to his brother Kevin, Mr. Davis is survived by his wife Isabel; son Adrian; sisters Dana and Laurie; and mother Beverly Brockmeyer.

Memorial services for Mr. Davis will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at The Church of he Recessional at Forest Lawn Glendale, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., in Glendale, Calif. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Adrian Davis Education Fund, c/o Bristol Farms, 915 E. 230th St., Carson, CA 90745.
