As the holiday season approaches, Pepperidge Farm is introducing Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Cups. A miniature version of the Puff Pastry Shells, these versatile pastries provide a blank canvas for creative entertainers to serve up dishes in perfect bite-sized portions, according to Pepperidge Farm.
Pre-formed and ready-to-bake, Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Cups “rise” during 20 minutes in the oven and can then be filled with any combination of ingredients, resulting in appetizers like a Mini Antipasto Pastry Platter and sweet treats like Chocolate Mascarpone Cups Dipped in Chocolate.
“When it comes to entertaining, we know how important it is for hosts to wow their guests with delicious and impressive dishes,” said Theresa Miller, Puff Pastry brand manager at Pepperidge Farm. “Our Puff Pastry products have long served as inspiration for creating both sweet and savory recipes, and new Puff Pastry Cups provide yet another way for entertainers to showcase their culinary creativity.”
Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Cups (sold in 24-count quantities), Shells and Sheets are available in the freezer section at major supermarkets and mass merchandisers nationwide for a suggested retail price $3.88, $3.88 and $4.95, respectively. Pre-made Puff Pastry Turnovers from Pepperidge Farm also are available for a suggested retail price of $3.74.
