Publix Super Markets will officially enter the North Carolina market next month as it opens its first store in the Tar Heel State. The long-awaited Charlotte area store in Ballantyne is located at 11206 Providence Rd. W. and is expected to open by the end of February.
The store’s groundbreaking was held last March, and the Lakeland, Fla.-based grocer with stores across the Southeast has told The Shelby Report it plans to quickly grow its North Carolina market share.
