MeatCuttersClub.org is on the hunt for the best meat cutter in Georgia who is not only the best of the best but who has a passion for their craft.
Georgia butchers/meat cutters will gather this summer to showcase the skills and craftsmanship during competition.
“Using their acquired skills in a competitive environment gives young butchers a chance to demonstrate how much they have learned and measure themselves against their fellow competitors,” says Leon Wildberger, founder of MeatCuttersClub.org.
Promoted by MeatCuttersClub.org and co-sponsored by Georgia meat businesses, the contest will award the winner the title of Georgia Meat Cutter of the Year, meat-cutting supply prizes valued at more than $1,000 and a cash prize of $2,000 from MeatCuttersClub.org.
Sponsorships are still available and the first round of competition will begin in June.
