Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage opened stores this week in Oregon and New Mexico.
The Oregon store, at 407 Northwest Burnside Rd. in Gresham, is the seventh location in the state for the grocer. The New Mexico store is located at 3970 E. Lohman Ave. in Las Cruces and is the fifth in that state for Colorado-based Natural Grocers.
“Gresham, Portland and its surrounding communities are aware of issues involving both personal health and environmental health, so we feel like we will be a great fit,” said Kemper Isely, co-president of Natural Grocers. “(And) we are excited to offer the people of Las Cruces and the surrounding communities healthy food options at an affordable price and free nutrition resources.”
