The Market at Stone Oak features large fresh departments that include an expanded organics section, a produce station/juice bar, sushi shop, dry aged beef, a nut butter station and a specialty cheese shop with more than 250 fresh cut artisanal cheeses. The store also has the largest beer and wine section in the region, a Primo Pick Kitchen and a Healthy Living Section.

An in-house pharmacy has dedicated pick-up and drop-off counters, a two-lane drive-through and optional delivery service.

The Market at Stone Oak has a seafood department with a 28-ft. over/under service case, and specialty products with additional frozen and fresh options including fish, shellfish and fresh burgers.

The new market also features more than 200 bulk bin offerings, including nuts, fruits, snacks and more, as well as eight locally produced flavors of bulk jerky.

It also offers more than 600 beer brands (37 percent are craft beers) and local wine in addition to selections from countries such as Greece, Israel, Yugoslavia and South Africa.

There also are more than 30 varieties of hummus and a charcuterie with cooked, cured, salted and seasoned specialties. Sushiya offers freshly prepared gourmet sushi including brown rice rolls, sashimi, the San Antonio Roll and a vegetarian option.

The 80,000-s.f. store is part of an “Invest in Texas” commitment H-E-B made in early 2010. The initiative includes renovating existing stores and building new ones in an effort to pump new money and jobs into the state’s economy.

Oaks Crossing Bistro & Bar

Oaks Crossing Bistro & Bar offers a diverse menu. Patrons can choose from salads, pasta dishes, pizza, barbecue and H-E-B’s “Dreamfloat” (pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice). All dishes are prepared in house.

Aside from food, Oaks Crossing has an extensive list of beer, wine and cocktails. Customers can choose from Texas made craft beers on tap, wine, top shelf margaritas made with fresh juice and more than 40 other cocktail options.

The bistro has an indoor café seating area and an outdoor patio that features live entertainment several times a week.
