Nestlé Coffee-Mate, Keurig Partner To Offer Branded Coffee K-Cup With Creamer

Keurig Green Mountain Inc. and Nestlé USA are bringing Nestlé Coffee-mate branded coffee with creamer to K-Cup packs for the Keurig brewing system. Nestlé Coffee-mate is the first brand to offer a K-Cup pack for hot coffee that combines roast and ground coffee with branded creamer.

nestlekcup2The companies plan to launch the new Nestlé Coffee-mate 2 in 1 K-Cup packs in Original and French Vanilla flavors on Keurig.com this fall and in grocery, mass and specialty retail stores in spring 2015.

Brynwood Partners acquires Juicy Juice brand from Nestlé USA

In other Nestlé USA news, Brynwood Partners VII L.P. says its newly formed portfolio company, Harvest Hill Beverage Co., has acquired the Juicy Juice business from Nestlé USA. Terms and conditions of the transaction will not be disclosed.

Juicy Juice, a 37-year-old brand, enjoys national distribution throughe food, mass and club retailers as well as in the food service channel. Juicy Juice is a pioneer brand in the 100 percent juice category.

The company, which expects to announce its management team in the coming weeks, will be based in Stamford, Conn.

Brynwood Partners has completed six acquisitions from Nestlé USA, this one the third in the past 14 months. Last year, two transactions were completed with Nestlé USA: Brynwood Partners VII L.P. acquired Joseph’s Gourmet Pasta Co., and Pearson Candy Co., a Brynwood Partners VI L.P. portfolio company, acquired the Bit-O-Honey brand. The Juicy Juice acquisition marks the firm’s largest buy-side transaction since it was founded in 1984.
