Roche Bros. Opening Second Brothers Marketplace Store Next Week

Brothers Marketplace, Duxbury

Roche Bros. will open its second Brothers Marketplace store Wednesday, July 30, in Medfield, Mass.

The neighborhood market will provide customers with a one-stop grocery shopping and dining experience with a carefully curated selection of local, fresh and specialty foods. The market will emphasize local producers and vendors that have been handpicked by store associates, including Armeno Coffee from Northborough, Julie’s Z Breads from Medway, produce from Tangerini’s Farm in Millis and many others. The new store will be located at 446 Main St.

“We are excited to bring Brothers Marketplace to Medfield and see the concept come to life in its full expression,” said Rick Roche, co-owner and CEO of Roche Bros. “Medfield has a wonderful town center to explore and linger in, and we hope this new and unique market becomes a favorite neighborhood grocery and dining experience for residents.”

Brothers Marketplace in Medfield will feature an in-store diner with a menu offering items from classic burgers and hot dogs to handcrafted sodas and a full ice cream menu. Customers also can indulge in scratch-made pastries from the store’s bakery cafe that has indoor and outdoor seating.

Roche Bros. Supermarkets was founded by brothers Pat and Bud Roche in 1952. Brothers Marketplace is a next-generation offering, brought to the local communities by Pat’s sons and current owners Rick and Ed Roche. The company’s first Marketplace store opened in May in Weston, Mass.
