Fresh Thyme Farmers Market plans to open two new stores on the north side of Indianapolis on Thursday, Aug. 6. The Fishers store is located at 11481 East 116th Street, the Carmel store at 3400 East 146th Street.
Each store will host a grand opening celebration with doors opening at 7 a.m. Fresh Thyme will give the first 250 shoppers a reusable shopping bag filled with healthy groceries and produce valued at $50. Throughout the day attendees can enjoy live entertainment, face painting, food sampling and other family activities.
“These will be our fourth and fifth stores to open in the Indianapolis area, and I cannot say enough great things about the local residents,” said Fresh Thyme CEO Chris Sherrell. “Having the privilege to join two more Indy communities is very exciting, and we look forward to providing our new neighbors high-quality, healthy offerings at a great value.”
In addition, Fresh Thyme will donate a total of $10,000 to local organizations during the ribbon-cutting ceremonies with special check presentations just prior to the doors opening.
