88MartGo.com, a leading online Asian foods grocer, is now selling fresh produce online nationwide, marking the first time that an online grocer has started delivering fresh produce across the U.S., according to the company.

“We want to make sure that everyone has the same opportunity to get the best specialty ethnic foods no matter where you live,” 88MartGo’s founder Christiana Chen said. “This is a groundbreaking milestone not only for this company but for the online food distribution industry. As a pioneer in this market, 88MartGo is striving to serve people who do not have access to specialty groceries in their immediate area.”

The Bellevue, Washington-based company says this is a first not just for Asian specialty foods but for all online grocery companies. It says that other companies typically deliver produce to major metropolitan areas limited to an 8- to 10-mile radius only. 88MartGo is working with its launch partner, Grand Asia Market, a regional Asian supermarket serving North Carolina, to ship fresh produce to its first produce customer.

88MartGo.com is a brand site that is built and operated by OrangeNow Technologies, a technology engine that that helps suppliers to understand customer demand and optimize the costs based on product inventory, shipping costs and pricing.
