Ken Kelly, a Somerville, Massachusetts, restaurateur and business leader, and owner of several restaurants, recently passed away at age 44 after a long illness. He owned five Somerville restaurants: The Independent and Brass Union In Union Square, Foundry and Saloon in Davis Square and River Bar at Assembly Row.
