Keurig Green Mountain of Waterbury, Vermont, has appointed Robert Gamgort CEO, effective May 2. Gamgort is now serving as CEO of Pinnacle Foods. He will replace Brian Kelley, who will continue to serve as vice chairman of the board. Keurig was acquired by JAB Holding Co. earlier this year. Gamgort joined Pinnacle as CEO in 2009. Prior to joining Pinnacle, he served as North American president for Mars Inc., where he managed the company’s portfolio of confectionery, main meal, pet food and retail businesses. In partnership with the United Fresh Start Foundation, Tops Friendly Markets, a grocery retailer operating in upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and western Vermont, unveiled its first of four salad bar donations to select Buffalo public schools. The salad bars were introduced to four cafeterias as an effort to provide local students with access to a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
