Keurig Green Mountain Names New CEO, And More…

Keurig Green Mountain of Waterbury, Vermont, has appointed Robert Gamgort CEO, effective May 2. Gamgort is now serving as CEO of Pinnacle Foods. He will replace Brian Kelley, who will continue to serve as vice chairman of the board. Keurig was acquired by JAB Holding Co. earlier this year. Gamgort joined Pinnacle as CEO in 2009. Prior to joining Pinnacle, he served as North American president for Mars Inc., where he managed the company’s portfolio of confectionery, main meal, pet food and retail businesses. He joined Mars in 1998, initially serving as VP of marketing for M&M’S/Mars and then as GM of the company’s chocolate unit…

The salad bars were introduced to four cafeterias as an effort to provide local students with access to a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
