Natural Grocers will open a store in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, June 14. The company, which already has 19 stores in the state of Texas, will employ 28 people at this location. The store will open at 8 a.m. and is located at 13310 NW Military Highway.
In celebration of the grand opening, Natural Grocers will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:55 a.m. and will then distribute mystery gift cards to the first 50 customers in line. Gift cards will be in the amount of $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100. Customers won’t know the amount of their gift card until they check out.
Tastings will be held during the day, starting with a muffin tasting from 10 a.m. to noon and paleo wraps from 1-3 p.m. From noon to 4 p.m., vendor demonstrations will take place throughout the store.
Opening day celebrations will be followed by a month-long series of free, grand opening events, including food tastings, cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes with nutrition experts. The store will also feature weekly health fairs on Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. for the first month:

Natural Grocers’ fresh produce is 100 percent USDA Certified Organic and it prides itself on selling “always affordable” organic and natural products. The store will feature a mix of national brands and a selection of locally produced products from Texas.
The stores also feature a nutritional health coach and offer free nutrition education classes to the public. The Natural Grocers in San Antonio will be open seven days a week.
