New England Coffee Raises More Than $33K For Two Groups, And More…

New England Coffee, a division of Reily Foods Co., raised $33,150 at its 24th Annual Charity Golf Classic, held May 9 at the Andover Country Club in Andover, Massachusetts. The proceeds will be donated by New England Coffee in equal amounts to Rosie’s Place and VNA Hospice and Palliative Care. The funds will enable Rosie’s Place to continue to provide security, sanctuary and opportunity to poor and homeless women in Boston and allow VNA Hospice and Palliative Care to continue to offer care and support to those with terminal illnesses…

Chipotle will kick off its “Chiptopia Summer Rewards,” a three-month-long promotion through September that offers customers free rewards for making multiple visits to Chipotle within a given month. “We created Chiptopia to reward our most loyal customers who continue to support our efforts to cultivate a better world,” said Mark Crumpacker, Chipotle chief creative and development officer. “While Chiptopia Summer Rewards lasts just three months, we will be carefully listening to our customers and using what we learn as we consider the design of an ongoing rewards program.”…

Brinker International named Kelli Valade president of Chili’s Grill & Bar, responsible for overseeing all aspects of domestic restaurant operations, marketing, franchising and PeopleWorks for the brand. With 20 years of experience at Brinker, Valade has held multiple leadership roles in PeopleWorks and operations and most recently served as EVP and COO. Prior to joining Brinker International, Valade held a human resources position at Carlson Restaurants Worldwide. “Six years ago, we tapped Kelli to lead the change to become a more accountable organization. Through our evolution to a culture of accountability, Kelli and our restaurant leadership teams have achieved unprecedented improvements in restaurant margins and guest satisfaction scores.
