Lay’s is introducing four international potato chip flavors this summer.

According to a recent Mintel study, three out of five people feel they have become more adventurous when it comes to trying ethnic cuisines. Lay’s, one of the brands from PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division, is putting this to the test by bringing some of the top flavors from around the world—Brazilian Picanha, Chinese Szechuan Chicken, Greek Tzatziki and Indian Tikka Masala—to chip form.

“This summer, all eyes will be on the global stage, reminding us of our desire to travel and explore the world. While most of us can’t just hop on a plane, all of us can travel through our taste buds,” said Jeannie Cho, VP of Frito-Lay marketing. “The Passport to Flavor program invites consumers to try four delicious new global flavors, while also giving them a chance to win a variety a different trips and travel-related prizes.”

Beginning in mid-July, consumers can purchase the specially marked Lay’s products at retailers nationwide and enter their on-pack code online to collect “miles” and “passport stamps” for a chance to win travel gear, domestic and international getaways, and other travel-themed prizes.

The new flavors include:

  • Brazilian Picanha—This potato chip is designed to capture the flavor of Picanha, a cut of Brazilian steak that is skewer-grilled with coarse salt and topped with chimichurri sauce.
  • Chinese Szechuan Chicken—The regional Sichuan Pepper is where takeout Szechuan Chicken gets its name. The potato chip embodies the dish with the tongue-tingling sensation of “málà.”
  • Greek Tzatziki—Made up of a mix of dill, garlic and other unique spices added to yogurt, Tzatziki is classic Mediterranean.
  • Indian Tikka Masala—Featuring spices like turmeric and cumin, the tomato-based dish Tikka Masala is a fixture in global cuisine.

All four flavors will be available in retail stores nationwide beginning July 25.
