Chobani Accepting Applications For Food Incubator Firms, And More…

Chobani, the yogurt company based in Norwich, New York, is calling for applications to the Chobani Food Incubator, which was designed to help entrepreneurs and small food companies. “Natural food startups with the right mindset can make a big difference,” said Hamdi Ulukaya, founder and CEO of Chobani. “I know that getting started can be the hardest part of the journey, so I designed the Chobani Food Incubator to share what we’ve learned when it comes to scaling up, challenging the big guys and fighting convention. This is a no-strings-attached, grant-based program to support entrepreneurs so we can further fuel the food revolution.” The inaugural class of the Chobani Food Incubator will run October 2016-March 2017 in a dedicated space at Chobani’s headquarters. Bar-S Foods is voluntarily recalling some corn dogs and hot dogs that may be contaminated with Listeria. No illnesses have been reported in association with any of the recalled product. The items include Bar-S Classic Corn Dogs, Signature Foods Corn Dogs, Bar-S Classic Franks and Bar-S Foods Classic Bun Length Classic Franks.
