From July through October, Citgo Petroleum Corp., along with its local New England partners, SEI Fuels, H.A. Mapes, Global Partners and Tradewinds, will help support the Red Sox Foundation through the installation of unique Red Sox-branded gas pumps at multiple Citgo stations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. A portion of customer’s fuel purchase will be donated directly to the Red Sox Foundation. Customers can look for “Fuel Change” donation boxes or receive a Red Sox Foundation baseball mobile at the register by donating $1 or $5 to support the organization. “We greatly appreciate the Red Sox pride and support that Citgo and its marketers are providing at their stations throughout New England,” said Gena Borson, executive director of the Red Sox Foundation. She added, “Not only are the Citgo Red Sox Foundation Spirit Pumps helping to fuel our enrichment programs and activities at the foundation, but they are also encouraging local residents to get involved and share the responsibility for improving our communities.”…
In honor of M&M’s 75th anniversary, the company asked fans to choose the brand’s newest peanut-flavored addition to join Original Peanut on shelves. With more than a million votes cast, M&M’S announced Coffee Nut as the flavor loved most. Starting in August, the Coffee Nut flavor will be on shelves at retailers nationwide. Honey Farms is opening a new location on Princeton Road in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on Aug. 11. The store will host its first Nathan’s Famous Sandwich Shop, serving hot dogs, burgers, chicken, steak subs, fries and more.
