Bfresh, focused on affordable fresh foods, will open its doors at 470 Washington Street in Brighton, Massachusetts, on Aug. 19. This will mark the second bfresh store in the Greater Boston area. The inaugural bfresh store opened in nearby Allston in September 2015.
Bfresh offers more natural and organic options than a typical market, vegan and gluten-free options as well as specialty foods. The store offers The Little Kitchen, a meal convenience destination as well as made-to-order foods to eat on the spot, ready-to-eat or hot items to go and fresh meal components for home use.
“Shoppers want to keep things simple. They want fresh foods they can afford, right around the corner. Bfresh is all about meeting those needs,” said Patrick Blye, bfresh team coach. “No matter how you want to shop—like stocking up for the week, buying fresh for meals every day or stopping in for the freshest quick bite in town—bfresh has got you covered.”
Bfresh still offers thousands of name brand items to make the 9,700-s.f. store a primary shopping stop. Bfresh is operated by Fresh Formats, an Ahold company.
