Reams Springville Market, a central Utah supermarket at 759 East 400 South, now offers online grocery with in-store pickup and same-day home delivery services.
Springville, population 31,000, includes a Walmart that already offers online grocery shopping, and Kroger is building a new 123,000-s.f. store that will offer ClickList, the company’s curbside pickup program. Amberly Brimhall, the owner of Reams, has been proactive in staying ahead of the national chains by providing this service that her customers want.
“We have received great responses from those who have tried it, with many return customers. I love that I can order and pay for it online and have it delivered to my mom or a neighbor. Or be at the doctor’s office with my kids and order on my phone what I need, delivered from the store I love, and it’s at my door when I want.”
Customers can choose in-store pickup or delivery and schedule a time that is convenient for them to receive their groceries. ShopHero personal shoppers pick and prepare each order as it comes in, using a mobile picking app that ensures accuracy and efficiency. The app allows multiple orders to be picked at the same time, helping the store fulfill more orders per day.
Brimhall says she chose ShopHero to manage e-commerce at her store because it is a turn-key solution that provides the website, point-of-sale integration, order fulfillment with employees to pick and deliver each order, as well as digital marketing support.
“ShopHero has been a great partner, helping us throughout this venture,” she says. “They take care of everything so we don’t have to. We run the store and they handle the online orders.”
