McLane Co.’s private label subsidiary, Consumer Value Products (CVP), is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Today CVP has 12 brands that include more than 240 foodservice, automotive, candy and snacks, general merchandise, grocery and health, beauty and wellness products.
CVP debuted two new brands at the recent McLane National Trade Show in September:
• Divinely Sweet—milk chocolate peanut butter cups, sea salt caramel chocolate grahams and toasted s’mores chocolate grahams.
• Work Fare Professional—back-of-house supplies such as chemicals, foodservice gloves and carry-out bags.
In addition, CVP has refreshed the packaging of its popular Road-Tech brand. The new design be found on items such as motor oil, 50-50 antifreeze and tire inflators.
The Hometown Market brand will introduce new products as well. These include raw almonds, very cherry vibe, honey roasted cashews, endurance blend, country club mix and banana chips, many of which meet the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) healthy criteria.
“Over the last 25 years, CVP has continued to evolve with the industry by offering new highly attractive innovative products that meet the needs of today’s consumers. We pay close attention to the industry to stay ahead of trends and offer consumers the products they desire,” said Teresa Voelter, CVP general manager.
“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we’re proud of how far we have come and are excited about new product launches at this year’s trade show as well as upcoming product and brand launches in the coming years,” she added.
CVP, founded in 1992 under the name Salado Sales, supplies products to 9,000 retailers across the country. A complete list of brands includes CVP (Baby, Health and Home), Work Fare, Road-Tech, Hometown Market, Pristyn Purified Water, Excursion Beef Jerky, YumBees candy and Beau Dacious Dog Biscuits, Divinely Sweet and WorkFare Professional.
