N.J.-based Pinnacle Foods Group has appointed Christopher J. Boever EVP and chief customer officer. In his new position, Boever will report directly to CEO Bob Gamgort and lead the sales force and broker organization for the U.S. retail organization.
“Chris brings to Pinnacle extensive sales retail leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth,” says Gamgort.
With more than 20 years experience in sales management, Boever most recently served as SVP of sales at ConAgra Foods where he led the direct and broker sales organization for the consumer division. He joined ConAgra Foods in 2007 as VP of sales planning and advanced through positions of increasing responsibility including both planning and operations strategy across a portfolio of frozen, grocery, refrigerated and snack food brands. Prior to ConAgra Foods, Boeyer worked at Hormel Foods from 1991-2007. He moved through roles of increasing scope before being named VP of sales strategy in 2004. His last position with Hormel was VP of sales, business development, where he was the link between brand and customer annual operating plan development and execution for the grocery, meat and deli businesses. Boeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.
