Vitasoy-USA, a North American tofu and Asia pasta innovator based in Ayer, Mass., has appointed Susan Rolnick as VP of sales and marketing.
In making the announcement, President and CEO Walter M. Riglian said, “Susan Rolnick is a dynamic sales and marketing leader who has demonstrated success across many facets of our business, including sales, marketing, customer engagement and channel management in both the U.S. and Canada.”
In her previous position as Vitasoy’s marketing VP, Rolnick’s key accomplishments included successful new product launches of TofuPlus, an innovative tofu that meets the nutritional needs of people on a no-/low-meat diet, and Super Hummus, the first and only hummus that delivers twice the protein and half the fat of the leading hummus brand, according to a company news release.
“Rolnick launched products that have become game changers for our industry. She clearly is at the forefront of the creative leadership in our field,” said Riglian. “In the year ahead, Vitasoy will launch major new products in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. We are fortunate to have her as an integral part of our strategic management team.”
Prior to joining Vitasoy as marketing director in 2009, Rolnick served as director of marketing for ConAgra’s Lightlife division. She is a graduate of Rutgers and holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Riglian also has announced the promotion of Jay Toscano to Vitasoy’s West Coast division sales manager. Toscano, who had previously served as Vitasoy’s West natural sales manager based out of southern California, has been responsible for all natural food west business, as well as key national natural food accounts. His previous experience includes key sales management positions at Frito-Lay, Keebler and Stonyfield Farm.
