Media Solutions Corp. (MSC) and Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates (ROFDA) have announced their partnership to provide ROFDA member distributors new services to help their independent retailer customers to compete more favorably.
“We founded MSC in July of 2011 and the very first call we made was to ROFDA to brainstorm how MSC could custom design marketing solutions and work closely with ROFDA to help their members better compete,” said Jim Lukens, general manager of Phoenix-based Media Solution Corp.
Francis Cameron, ROFDA EVP and COO, added that the partnership with MSC would serve well for ROFDA members.
“ROFDA’s partnership with Media Solutions Corp. was built on our common interest in serving the independent grocery retailer,” Cameron said. “MSC’s innovative digital products provide relevant solutions for the independent grocer at an affordable price. While MSC is a relatively new organization, Jim has brought together his years of industry experience and knowledge with a team of seasoned professionals to deliver a truly remarkable program. The new partnership provides ROFDA members with custom-marketing programs and technology tools starting at $10 per store per week. Programs include customized store websites, text messaging programs and subscriptions to in-store LCD screen digital signage content programs.
“The $10-a-week price point for our programs is a critical element of our business model. We know that there are many stores without customized websites, text message-based marketing programs and access to high quality digital signage content. The $10-a-week price point enables stores of any size or format to participate in ROFDA’s program,” said Lukens.
MSC currently provides services to more than 325 ROFDA member stores in more than 35 states.
