The Retail Dietitians Business Alliance (RDBA) has launched its online career center. The RDBA Career Center, located at www.RetailDietitians.com and housed within the “Members Area,” provides a venue for simple, straight-forward posting of retail dietitian job openings as well as retail dietitians looking for a position.
RDBA membership and career center postings are free.
“One of the fastest growing trends in retail, including grocery, restaurants, foodservice outlets and drug stores, is the hiring of registered dietitians to engage shoppers and leverage health and wellness as a competitive advantage,” says Phil Lempert, president and CEO of RDBA. “RDBA is thrilled to provide a place for retailers and registered dietitians to make connections through our career center.”
The RDBA serves as the professional group to the more than 600 and growing retail registered dietitians throughout the U.S. who help customers and employees with food and nutrition issues. The RDBA offers these professionals the opportunity to better understand the business of retail, including trends, merchandising, working with suppliers and more. Through online and in-person training at key events, RDBA is the first to provide a retail business education for registered dietitians.
RDBA founding partners include the National Grocers Association, the Food Marketing Institute, Soy Foods Association, United Fresh Produce Association, ConAgra Foods, Ketchum and the National Confectioners Association.
