Trader Joe’s Plans To Debut Boca Raton Store Next Year

Trader Joe's logo

Trader Joe’s apparently has big plans for South Florida. The California-based specialty grocer is coming to Boca Raton, Fla., in 2014.

The South Florida Business Journal reports that the 12,500-s.f. store in the East City Center at 855 South Federal Hwy. will mark the second Trader Joe’s in Palm Beach County. The company said last month it would open its first Palm Beach County location at the PGA Plaza in Palm Beach Gardens. Construction of a Miami-Dade County location already has begun in Pinecrest. They’re all expected to open next year.

Trader Joe’s first entered the Sunshine State in early 2012 with a store in Naples. It since has opened several locations throughout Florida.
