World Series Champs Celebrate With Special Mumm Napa Wine, Parade Is Today In San Fran


After the San Francisco Giants won the 110th World Series on Wednesday, the team celebrated in the clubhouse with Mumm Napa as it did after its 2010 and 2012 World Series Championships. This year, Mumm Napa provided the team with enough Giants Brut Prestige to fill a hot tub for its championship celebration—roughly 312 gallons, or 130 cases, of the specially-labeled sparkling wine.

JustGiants_Brut_PrestigeFinal_4_24_5134 2 last year, Mumm Napa became the official sparkling wine of the team, and Giants Brut Prestige ($27) was created. As the name suggests, the wine is a special bottling of Mumm Napa’s Brut Prestige, the winery’s most popular Napa Valley sparkling wine, and has a new label featuring the San Francisco Giants’ logo.

The clubhouse is not the only place that the Giants and Giants’ fans can find Mumm Napa sparkling wine. Mumm Napa’s assistant winemaker, Tami Lotz, has attended every post-season home game this year to pour Mumm Napa wines on the Oracle Suite level of AT&T Park and to root on her team. Additionally, throughout the season, Mumm Napa wines are available for purchase at the ballpark and are featured at tastings during select games, at special events, at the World Series gala and at all pre- and post-game celebrations. AT&T Park’s LED displays and Jumbotron also get in on the fun, flashing #MummNapaMoment each time something big happens during a game.

Giants Brut Prestige and other Mumm Napa sparkling wines are for purchase on Mumm Napa’s website and at Bay Area retailers including Safeway and Costco.

In continuing its celebration, the Giants will be honored in the traditional parade today, which begins at noon on Market Street near the Embarcadero.
