Plans are now under way for Stater Bros. Markets to build its next supermarket on the northeast corner of Tustin Ranch Road and Valencia Avenue in the city of Tustin, California. Scheduled to open in fall 2016, the future 43,829-s.f. full-service grocery store in Orange County is being developed by Regency Centers in The Village at Tustin Legacy. This new complex sits in the heart of the former Tustin Marine Corps Airbase, which is under redevelopment.
In addition to providing the traditional seafood and meat, service deli, hot bakery and garden produce departments, the new Tustin Ranch Stater Bros. will include wider, customer-friendly aisles, a new décor theme, as well as an extensive assortment of fresh and healthy products. Additional customer service amenities will feature an in-store ATM and a dedicated register designed to assist shoppers with such digital transactions as money orders, Money Grams and California Lottery tickets. In keeping with the company’s goal to reduce its environmental footprint, the store also is set to incorporate energy-saving features and environmentally friendly practices throughout.
This will be the second Stater Bros. supermarket to operate within the Tustin city limits. Stater Bros.’ other Tustin store is located 14171 Red Hill Avenue and will continue to operate. The future Tustin Ranch store will be double in size and fully prepared to serve the emerging families who call the surrounding area their home, according to the San Bernardino-based grocer. It will be co-anchored by a full-service drug store and an acute medical facility.

Another Stater Bros. ‘Blue Ribbon’ supermarket currently is under construction at the southeast corner of Menifee Road and Newport Road in Riverside County’s city of Menifee. It, too, is set to open in fall 2016.
