Work On Lucky’s Market In Orlando Begins

Lucky's Market in Louisville

Work to transform a vacant fitness center in east Orlando into a Lucky’s Market is under way. The store will be the first in Orlando for the Colorado-based grocer.

The Orlando Business Journal reports that the 35,000-s.f. Lucky’s is in the Alafaya Village shopping center on the southwest corner of Colonial Drive and Alafaya Trail in the former Metro 25/7 Gym that anchored the center.

Lucky’s Orlando is slated to open this spring.

The grocer currently operates two Florida stores, in Gainesville and Naples. It plans to open stores in Coral Springs and Plantation later this year, according to company’s website.

  • LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU NEED A CUBAN BORN THAT WORKED IN THE MEXICAN GROCERY BUSINESS FOR 21 YEARS IN ANAHEIM, CA. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO OPEN IN HOMESTEAD, FL. Also, as a result, I know the Caribbean, Central American, and, South American stipends. Also, South Pacific. I have lived on the U.S. since 1961, and, I’m fluent in Spanish and English.

  • BY THE WAY, I WAS BORN IN CUBA & came in to our country in 1961, at age 11. I WORKED SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH THE PRESIDENT OF NORTHGATE GONZALEZ MARKETS, MIGUEL GONZALEZ, OUT OF ANAHEIM, CA FOR 21 YEARS ( 1986 – 2007 ). THAT IS PRECISELY WHY I OFFER TO OPEN A STORE IN HOMESTEAD, FL. I LOVE OUR GROCERY BUSINESS AND I AM ABLE TO SERVE MAINSTREAM CUSTOMERS, CUBAN, CARIBBEAN, CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA, AND, THE SO. PACIFIC.
    THANK YOU,
