The Boston Beer Co., brewer of Samuel Adams beers, named Jonathan Potter chief marketing officer (CMO), overseeing the company’s planning, development and execution of its brand development, marketing and advertising initiatives. He comes to the company from Moet Hennessy USA, where he served as managing director of its Chandon division. Before that he had been CMO and EVP of brands since 2012. Golbon, a national foodservice buying group, has added A&R Food Distributors Inc. of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, as a member. A&R has been operating since 1990 in the Philadelphia, southern New Jersey and Delaware markets, serving sports bars, delis, seafood restaurants and caterers.
