Michigan Grocer Adds Fresh Fried Chicken Program

Shoppers at the Fresh Value Market in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, may now be lured to the deli by the smell of freshly fried chicken wafting through the store. From 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., team members in the deli will serve hot batches of Chester’s double-breaded fried chicken and tenders seven days a week.

“Picking up some Chester’s is an easy way to make everyone in the family happy at dinner time,” said store owner Mike Hamade.

“Chester’s is proud to partner with the Fresh Value Market team on Joy Road,” said Chester’s area developer Kathy Jackson. “The community already knows that this store has great value for their groceries. Now with Chester’s, it’s going to be a destination to pick up a hot meal in the deli, too.”

Chester’s uses fresh chicken that is double-breaded by hand following a proprietary family recipe. The menu features bone-in chicken, tenders and potato wedges, and meals can be customized with a range of dipping sauces and signature seasonings. Fresh Value Market also will  be able to accommodate catering orders for customers who call ahead to reserve large boxes or party platters of chicken.

“Whether it’s a quick meal for you, or dinner for the whole family, or even a box for your next tailgate party, we look forward to seeing you for the best fried chicken in town,” Hamade said.
