Windsor Marketing Group (WMG) in Connecticut is celebrating its 40th anniversary in business with a newly completed facility in Suffield.
In four decades, WMG has grown from an initial base of three clients and only 10 employees to more than 200 employees serving more than 3,000 clients, including many retailers.
WMG recently completed a 120,000-s.f. expansion of its headquarters designed to further enhance the firm’s ability to deliver “cutting-edge programs for clients.”
Recognizing the company’s long-standing commitment to eco-friendly, sustainable business practices, commissioner Robert Klee of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, writes, “The story of your company clearly demonstrates that you can grow the ‘bottom line’ with a focus on sound environmental practices…”
Closing a special ceremony at the Suffield facility last week was CEO Kevin Armada, who thanked his team and spoke of the ability to remain focused singularly on growing client sales. Armata noted that, while WMG celebrates its growth to date, the company is excited about its future and will continue to invest in growing client sales. He then unveiled a bronze commemorative plaque on the new building, marking the company’s 40th anniversary.
