Key Food Stores has opened its newest Gala Fresh unit in Passaic, New Jersey.
“It’s great to see Gala Fresh joining the Passaic and Clifton communities,” said Key Food VP of Business Development John Durante. “This store will offer shoppers an array of international flavors and cuisines that they wouldn’t normally have such easy access to.”
The newly renovated grocery store features a full-service butcher counter with a diverse selection of meats that offers custom-cut-to-order options. The fresh seafood counter includes an offering of fresh shellfish, fillets and whole fish along with experienced fishmongers to prepare fish and seafood to each customer’s preferences. The full-service deli counter features fresh salads in addition to fresh deli cold cuts and cheeses, a variety of hot and cold custom-made sandwiches as well as a daily selection of hot foods.
“We are proud to join the Passaic and Clifton communities and become a one-stop location for residents to purchase the freshest groceries in the area,” said store owner Omar Jorge. “Our goal is to serve and become an integral member of these neighborhoods. We work really hard to live up to our motto—’The Heart of the Neighborhood.'”
