Kayco will offer more than 20 new and traditional Kosher-for-Passover products in March at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide. Kayco, located in Bayonne, New Jersey, is a kosher food distributor, representing brands such as Gefen, Hadar, Chef Jeff, Kedem, Yehuda, Glicks, Fox’s and Harrison’s among others.
Kayco EVP Harold Weiss says the company’s partnership with Whole Foods began more than a decade ago in response to growing consumer demand for products that fit both kosher and healthy lifestyles.
“Our palates have gravitated toward creative cuisines and sophisticated food trends,” Weiss said. “People today are genuinely interested in food not just for the way it tastes but how it’s produced and what that means to their overall health. They expect convenience, and they no longer want to choose between delicious and healthy just because it’s Passover.”
Shoppers can find a full array of organic, fair trade, vegan and natural options from Kayco that are free of gluten, GMOs, preservatives and artificial ingredients.
“Like Whole Foods Market, Kayco is constantly seeking out innovative products and conscientious producers. Thanks to them, our customers will find new and traditional Passover items from one of the most trusted brands on our shelves every year,” said Christina Pearson, global grocery category manager at Whole Foods Market.
Spanning more than a decade of collaboration, Kayco and Whole Foods Market have offered more than 100 different products for Passover, including grape juice, baked goods, candies and matzo products.
“At the same time, Whole Foods Market offers unique products from Kayco brands that can be used by everyone, from Harrison’s Fair Trade chocolate chips for snacking and baking to the only Biodynamic Grape Juice produced in the U.S. by Kedem,” added Weiss. “From Glick’s macaroons to Yehuda gluten-free matzo, the shopping experience for Passover is unbeatable.”
Whole Foods Market stores nationwide will carry a diverse selection of Passover favorites and new releases from Kayco starting in March. Products include:
- Kedem Biodynamic Grape Juice
- Yehuda Matzoh: Organic Whole Wheat and Gluten-Free varieties (Everything, Original, Cinnamon, Unsalted)
- Yehuda Regular, Panko-style, and Gluten-Free Matzoh Meal
- Kedem Gourmet Tilapia Gefilte Fish
- Sea Castle Seaweed Snacks
- Gefen Roasted Chestnuts
- Glick’s Macaroons (regular and Gluten-Free varieties)
- Eylon All-Natural Marshmallows (Vanilla and Vanilla Minis)
- Harrison’s Bittersweet Chocolate Chips, Fruit Smiles, Jelly Rings and Fruit Slices
In addition, Gefen Gluten-Free Pastas (shells, wide noodles, elbows and lasagna) will be available at select Whole Foods Market from coast-to-coast.
