Acme Joins Network To Promote Affordable Choices To Shoppers

Acme, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, now accepts programs from the S3 Solution Suite, including Healthy Savings and Healthy Benefits Plus. S3 is a product of Minnesota-based electronic payments company Solutran Inc.

Healthy Savings logoHealthy Savings grants discounts on healthier food choices, while Healthy Benefits Plus provides benefits to spend on over-the-counter medications. Members of these programs in the Northeast can use their benefits at all participating Acme locations.

All program discounts are applied instantly at retail checkout with the single scan of a program app or card. The programs are sponsored by participating health plans and individual employers.

Acme is the second Albertsons Cos. division to join the network, preceded by Jewel-Osco. Acme has 169 store locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland and Connecticut. S3 programs now are accepted at each store location, providing instant savings to members with the single scan of their card or mobile app at checkout.
