Kroger Atlanta Hosting Job Fair April 13 To Fill 600+ Positions

Kroger is hosting a one-day job fair on April 13 at its Atlanta Division stores to hire employees for more than 600 part-time and full-time open positions.

The hiring event will take place in stores in Georgia, eastern Alabama and South Carolina.

People interested in working at Kroger should apply at jobs.kroger.com prior to the job fair and return to their preferred store on Saturday, April 13, between 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Appointments are not necessary.

Kroger’s Atlanta Division is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and is one of the Southeast’s largest retail grocery chains with more than 183 stores, covering Georgia, Eastern Alabama and South Carolina.

With nearly 2,800 stores in 35 states under two dozen banners and annual sales of more than $115.3 billion, Kroger today ranks as one of the world’s largest retailers. Kroger operates 38 food manufacturing facilities that make thousands of products ranging from bread, cookies and milk to soda pop, ice cream and peanut butter. About 40 percent of private-label items found in the company’s stores today are made at one of Kroger’s manufacturing plants. Kroger brands today account for 26 percent of Kroger’s total store dollar sales.

With dozens of manufacturing facilities and distribution centers around the country, Kroger also has one of the largest privately-owned truck fleets in the country. Trucks moving merchandise and supplies among stores, warehouses and manufacturing plants log nearly 329 million miles annually.
