Seal the Seasons locally grown fruit frozen fruit now is available in the Phoenix, Arizona, division stores of Safeway-Albertsons.
Safeway-Albertsons Phoenix division stores will carry three SKUs: California Blueberries, California Sliced Peaches and California Strawberry Blueberry Blend.
According to Seal the Seasons, Safeway-Albertsons Phoenix is the first Pacific Southwest retailer to carry its line of locally-grown frozen fruit products. The Phoenix division is the second Safeway-Albertsons region to offer Seal the Seasons; the grocery chain launched four SKUs in its Portland division in August 2018.
Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based Seal the Seasons, which was founded in 2014, partners with farmers on a region-by-region basis to buy their fruit in season, freeze and package it, and sell it in nearby grocery stores. The company launched its products in North Carolina in 2016, followed by expansion into the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, Midwest and Pacific Southwest during the past six months.

Seal the Seasons’ line of locally-grown frozen fruit is non-GMO with no added sugar.
