Samuel Adams Brew Inspires Cape Cod Summer Potato Chips

Cape Cod Potato Chips + Samuel Adams

For the first time, Cape Cod Potato Chips has partnered with a brewery. The result is a chip with the flavor to complement Samuel Adams New England IPA.

Cape Cod Potato Chips, based in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and Sam Adams of Boston worked together to create a potato chip that would feature the essence of both brands. Cape Cod Summer Potato Chips have cracked pepper and lemon flavors to accompany the citrus fruit notes and “hazy, juicy flavors” of Sam Adams New England IPA.

“As a brand with longstanding New England roots, we have always loved and respected Samuel Adams. Their focus on quality and passion for their product mirrors our own,” said Aaron Torchio, director of marketing for Cape Cod. “The taste combination with Samuel Adams was really a natural fit. We hope to share the taste of summer with our biggest fans and new consumers.”

“Sam Adams and Cape Cod are not only synonymous with New England, but also with great flavor and passion for our products. It’s exciting to bring drinkers and consumers a chip and beer pairing that perfectly captures how summer should taste,” said Jennifer Glanville, brewer and director of partnerships for Sam Adams. “The lemon in the chips highlights the citrus notes of New England IPA and cracked pepper adds just the right amount of spice.”

While Sam Adams New England IPA is available all year, Limited Edition Cape Cod Summer Potato Chips will only be available this summer (SRP $3.79). They will be sold in select retailers nationwide.
