Forum On Developing Bakery Industry Leaders Coming In September

The American Bakers Association (ABA) acknowledges that baking companies around the world are facing a multi-generational challenge in the marketplace and workforce. They have to meet the varied demands of their consumers, while recalibrating workforce development programs to meet the diverse styles of their executives, according to ABA.

At the NextGenBaker Global Leadership Forum, Sept. 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, industry leaders will share their perspectives on these challenges and leadership lessons they have learned along the way.

A presentation about workforce and consumer trends will be followed by an interactive panel discussion on those same topics.

Robb MacKie, president and CEO of ABA, and Cyrille Filott, global strategist-consumer foods for Rabobank, will present the workforce and consumer trends.

The panel will be moderated by NextGenBaker Co-Chairs Brent Bradshaw, SVP-Core Brands at Flowers Foods, and Brandon Woods, West Coast territory manager for AMF Bakery Systems.

Panelists are Brad Alexander, COO, Flowers Foods; Carrie Jones-Barber, CEO, Dawn Foods; Daniel Servitje, chairman and CEO, Grupo Bimbo; and Erin Sharp, group VP-manufacturing, The Kroger Co.
