Tops Friendly Markets has expanded grocery pickup service to 16 additional stores in western New York.

The added stores include 6914 Erie Road, Derby; S. 6150 South Park Avenue, Hamburg; 3201 Southwestern Boulevard, Orchard Park; 65 Grey Street, East Aurora; 2101 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo; 1740 Sheridan Drive, Buffalo; 3980 Maple Road, Amherst; 4777 Transit Road, Depew; 9660 Transit Road, Amherst; 355 Orchard Park Road, Buffalo; 700 Thruway Plaza, Cheektowaga; 7200 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls; 5175 Broadway, Depew; 5827 South Transit Road, Lockport; 390 W. Main Street, Batavia; and 425 Niagara Street, Buffalo.

“This expansion is significant for Tops as it assists shoppers from Buffalo to Batavia, Hamburg to Niagara Falls, making their shopping experience that much easier,” said Edward Rick, director of consumer marketing and digital for Tops, which is headquartered in Williamsville, New York.

In coming months, the company will further expand the pickup service further down the thruway to include several stores in Rochester and Syracuse, broadening the scope of the offering to an additional 22 stores, for a total of 41 in the chain.

“Tops Grocery Pick Up service is a great way to save time and money for our customers by combining two great services into one—Tops Instacart and Tops Pick Up, “ said Kathy Sautter, public and media relations manager. “We recognize that our customers are busy and this added convenience helps take one more thing off their already overflowing plates.”

To use grocery pickup, shoppers order groceries online at topsmarkets.com/instacart, select a preferred pickup time frame (between 8 a.m.-8 p.m.) at any of the designated Tops locations and then checkout online. Instacart shoppers will shop the customers’ order and prepare them for pickup. Upon arrival, customers can park in a designated parking area reserved for Grocery Pick Up customers, and a Tops associate will bring the groceries to their vehicle.

Not only will shoppers be able to order the same selections found in store online, but also a new feature of online shopping is Tops new online natural and organics store, topsorganics.com

To help celebrate the expansion of Tops Grocery Pick Up, the company is offering $10 off the first order of $35 with promo code TopsPickUp. There is no fee, no service charge and no gratuity.

Tops Markets LLC operates 159 full-service supermarkets and has five franchise stores in New York, northern Pennsylvania and western Vermont.
